Real Madrid are closing in on signing Gareth Bale from spurs, if latest reports are to be believed.

The Welsh star has not featured one single minute in Tottenham’s preseason matches so far, nor appeared in any of the club’s promotional events, and has returned to London on Sunday.

Now, after Spurs chairman Daniel Levy rejected Real Madrid’s latest bid of 93 million euros for the player, Bale has decided to put his foot down and make his voice heard. According to the Daily Mail, Bale is refusing to ever put on a Tottenham shirt again.

The Mail goes on to report that Bale is not suffering from any injuries (on the contrary to what Tottenham representatives previously said), and the only thing he wants now is to travel to Los Angeles, to join up with Real Madrid for their preseason tour as soon as possible.

The 24 year old’s stance will surely put immense pressure on Levy, who will have to sell his want-away striker now more than ever, and a deal could very well be wrapped up in the next few days.

Levy is wasting all sides’ time…Spurs should stop fooling around & just make the deal so that they can buy the players they want soon ( Imagine what they can do with 100mil … ) & Bale & Real get to each other sooner…

to be honest i dont think bale worth is this amount……yes he’s a fantastic player but madrid dont need to pay that kind of money for him. i think Tottenham is just increasing the price tag just to turn us away coz within themselves they knw that money is too much for bale. if he’s too expensive lets di maria is and isco are alreday availabe and lets just get saurez at a cheaper rate and who already wants to come to madrid….that’s my opinion
